Make and Print

$105.00

Tuesday, 6:30pm - 9:30pm

  • December 10th: Wrapping Paper

    • Just in time for the holidays!

*Limited to 6 participants.

What we’ll do

Make and Print is a 3-hour workshop and time for you to explore how a variety of mark-making materials translate into unique 2-color Risograph prints. Each workshop focuses on different theme - from buttons and sticker, to postcards and prints.

Bring in your designs or create on the fly using mark making materials (collage, markers, pens, pencils). We will print your image from the glass bed scanner, and each participant will take home small edition of 2-color prints of their own design, plus one print from all of the workshop participants!

This hands-on workshop is designed for those who are curious about riso printing and to just want to have fun making riso prints with fellow creators. No experience necessary!

*Please note: if you want to participate in open studio printing, you will need to take the Introduction to Risograph Printing Workshop instead.

What to bring

  • All materials, including pens, pencils, markers, collage materials, black ink, paper, will be provided for you to use. Including the use of our photocopier!

  • You are welcome to bring your favorite darker mark making tools (colors closer to black, dark blue, red, and green work best with the riso—try to stay away from yellows and other light colors).

  • You are also welcome to bring in your computer and/or tablet if you work digitally.

Workshop fee

We have a sliding scale structure ($65 - $105) and encourage you to pay what you can. To use our sliding scale fee, enter one of the following codes at check out:
